(Im on mobile, sorry if this ends up looking like a wall of text)
I think it sounds like a wonderful idea!!! It'd be like a m.a.p, but with comics! A few questions: How would members participating be chosen? I think the money bean vs currency could also be solved once that is answered. If it was based by selecting volunteers raffle style or picking a a small group every set amount of time money beans would be good, if it was commissioned out to a different group of artists each time I think getting a preference for currency/ MB would be good per person! They sound similar in the context above, but the difference between the two to me would be something along the lines of:
To a volunteer participant who has offered on a public journal of sorts: "Hello! Would you like to draw a comic for *insert amount of money beans*?"
While commissioning seems more along the lines of
"Hello! I see you have commissions up! What would the price be for a * insert comic specifications*? We can pay with currency, or if you'd like our money bean currency!"
(Personally, I'm incredibly partial to the MB volunteer option as I think it would be another fun way for people to collaborate with each other!)
2nd question: How would one know what to include in the comic? Would they be given a set of instructions? Such as "Queen Prisum enjoying a garden stroll when she stumbles upon a lost sprout" and allowed to improve? Would they be working in a group?
Again, I think it sounds like a great idea (and I'd love to know more about npcs!), and if you choose to implement the idea the mods would handle it incredibly well!
I think this would be really cool! I do agree with the person above me though, Riboo, in that it'd probably be better paid for with actual money earned from charity Bagbeans 8w8 though money beans sound cool, if I was commissioned to do a comic for griffia I wouldn't necessarily want to spend the money I earn on griffia things. My family doesn't earn well at the moment so I'd more likely want to earn money to put towards my mum's dental bill at the mo' ^w^;; But hey, it's just something to think over ;O; the comics themselves sound very interesting! They'd add a bit more life to the group, and make it feel a bit more real and interactive.
Hm, while that's a neat idea, honestly I'd rather see someone get offered money that they can spend outside of the group for doing such hard work. Maybe a few charity beans being put up for sell and the proceeds going to the artist? Something of the sort. Of course, that's just me, but I think it could be an option at least.
Edit: this is of course, thinking that if you wanted something more official that represents the group as a whole. If its something that's just to add incentive to drawing npcs in general? I see no trouble with that.
that would be so amazing! *v* I would love to see the npcs interancting with other bagbeans and we could learn a lot about Griffia! I'd really like to see landscapes and buildings and how cities look like... so if the artists could make all that it would be a dream come true haha ;v; I hope you find amazing artists that would love to the comic, I'm really excited!!
I honestly do not know. I mean it sounds interesting. I do wonder how it will be done. My biggest question is who can participate and when? Obviously the community, but like... Is it something we sign up for or do you go out and commission members? Will we be given a prompt and set of guidelines to do, or will you ask us to do whatever we want? Is there a deadline we need to meet? Will there be collaborations? Will there be different types of comics; mini to long? OOO Storyline comic and then fun shorts too. Maybe the mods make a story line and script, and then each user makes each page. Although it would stall when one user just doesn't do it. I wonder how cannon the stories will need to be? I wonder how long they will need to be? I wonder what the payment will look like? ( Seriously mods, I wish you luck with that. ) Or.... does the community come up with the story!? Like a "Make your own adventure"?* "Does the three bean cops break the case? Or will they cry trying!" At this point I'm just typing my thoughts but the more I think about it the more excited I get. I'm sure all my questions will be answered once the journal comes out.
